Happy Daredevil-Day everyone! I can't wait to watch the new season, it looks like its going to be amazing. Thats NOT how the Force works!

I've collaborated again with my dear, dear friend, John-Paul Bove on a brand new Star Wars The Force Awakens print, based on the classic New Hope poster! It will be available at our tables tomorrow at True Believers Comic Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse.

UnEarth!

My close, close man-friend, John-Paul Bove has written and coloured a new comic called UnEarth with amazing art by Conor Boyle. It's a terrifying journey into the unknown and if you want to read it and subsequently wet your pants like I did you can buy it at JP's BigCartel page now!

AGE. OF. ULTRON.

I'm so happy with how this came out and I'm really excited about sharing it, almost as much as seeing the film! Line art by me and beautifully rendered colours by John-Paul Bove. Influenced by the movie poster art of Drew Struzan.

MCM LONDON COMIC CON THIS WEEKEND!!

It's MCM London Comic Con time once again, everything is taking place this weekend at the Excel Centre in London's Docklands and once again I'll be there, riding a mighty table into battle with my co-adventuring comic-drawer-dude Mark Pearce (the Kick-buttock creator of Ronin Dogs). We'll be at table CF9 in the Comic Village where I'll be selling issues 1 & 2 of my comic Big Jimmy, loads of movie & TV related art prints and for the first time, sets of Marvel Phase 2 art cards (coloured by the Avenging John-Paul Bove). I'll also be doing commissions and selling some awesome original art too. You might say that I'm some kind of walking human shop! (it would be weird but you'd be welcome to say it) So come on over!

While you're in the Comic Village, make sure you check out some other amazing artists, including Marissa & Deakin Brook, situated right next to us at table CF10, Jess Bradley-Bove (table CB13), John-Paul Bove (CB14), Rob Cureton (CE5), Nikki Stuart, Louise Ho & Will Kirkby (CC8/CC9), Lewis Terry (CK7), Jon Lock (CK9) and Nich Angell (CK10). Only after you've visited all these people, do I give you permission to have a sit down.

Also The Fonz is going to be there.

30 Day Drawing Challenge. Day 26: Superhero Movie

I'm juddering with excitement as I'm mere hours away from seeing this film. This pic was coloured with patriotic, shield throwing skill by John-Paul Bove, colourist of the recently complete Transformers ReGeneration One epic series. HE is my Captain. And hey! This poster was featured in Shortlist.com's alternate Winter Soldier poster gallery!

Thought Bubble Comic Con this weekend!

I'm going to be at Thought Bubble, Leeds Comic Art Festival this weekend from the 23rd to the 24th of November. I'll be sharing a table with my comics partner in crime (and also my CRIME partner in crime), Mark Pearce, hocking our various comics, prints, sketches and sultry looks to the unsuspecting public. I've got copies of Issue One AND Two of Big Jimmy, while you can snag all three issues of Mark's awesome Ronin Dogs. THATS the kind of swag that Justin Biebers would spit on his young fans to get his hands on! Check us out in New Dock Hall at Table 64!

While you're there you'd be some kind of silly non-Belieber to miss a chance to check out other amazing artists in New Dock Hall like Jess Bradley-Bove at Table 173, John-Paul Bove at Table 172, Jon Lock at Table 113, Nich Angell at Table 114, Rob Cureton at Table 98 and Andrew Scaife at Table 84.

MCM LONDON COMIC CON: ONE WEEK TO GO!!

I'm going to be sharing a table with Marvelous Mark Pearce at MCM Comic Con at the Excel Centre, London from Friday 25th of October until Sunday 27th! We're going to be in the comic village at table CC2 surrounded by an embarrassingly giant number of awesome comic creators.

I've got issue 1 & 2 of Big Jimmy, along with some other comics and prints. Mark has all 3 issues of his amazing Space-Fantasy-Epic Ronin Dogs, plus his own eye melting prints that you'd be crazy not to sacrifice the solidity of your eye balls for!

But that ain't not even all the stuff that ain't there! While you're at the con check out the world of wonder created by Jess Bradley-Bove, the sweet-ass robo-colours of John-Paul Bove, the smooth smooth jazz that is the art of Lewis Terry, the musical majesty of Rob Cureton's Scene City, and the dynamically dynamite duo that is Deakin and Marisa Brook! All fantastic artists that will make your lives better by gazing upon their wonders (AND NO DESPAIR!)

So what are you waiting for? Time travel one week into the future and check it all out now! Tell 'em last week's James sent ya!

May the way of the hero lead to the Tri-Force...

The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past. My favourite game of all time. With heroically administered colours by John-Paul Bove.

I'm so, so happy with how this picture came out. I'm going to have prints of it for sale this weekend at London MCM Comic Con so come visit me at table K9! (where I'll be surrounded by robotic CATS ironically enough)

Big Jimmy #1 - The Cover!

With Big Jimmy #1 close to entering the eye-ball-readosphere I thought I would post the final cover, which has been magnificently coloured by my dear, dear man-hunk of a friend John-Paul Bove. JP crushes the colours on Transformers: Regeneration One every month for IDW and I am honoured that he schooled me in the ways of rendering lava for my cover. Big Jimmy is about a shy, retiring Martian boy who finds himself, through 'hilarious' 'circumstances' being chosen as Mars' representative in a Galaxy wide battle tournament. Along the way he meets a host of 'wacky' characters and learns a little about what makes a man into a man. Plus a bear. Big Jimmy #1 will be available to buy from my BigCartel page soon, and from me DIRECTLY at the comic cons (more news soon!)

"Earth's Mighiest Heroes" type thing...

When master colourist John-Paul Bove and I clash our giant biceps together, awesome, breath taking artwork falls out of the rip in time that our muscle collision creates. Case in point: Our triumphant Avengers team-up. I bench pressed all the line art while JP crashed in and body slammed the picture until it was covered in the most powerful colours you've ever seen. If you think you're strong enough to handle such a mighty image then you can pick up the print and individual postcards at John-Paul's table at London MCM expo between the 26th and 28th of October. He'll be there with loads more amazing prints, colouring your con sketches and increasing the value of your copies of Transformers: ReGeneration One by signing them with his explosive autograph. So what are you waiting for? GRAAAHHH!! I JUST PUNCHED A CRIMINAL! RAAAAGHHHH!!!!
