Last day of Crazy 4 Cult!
Merry Post Christmas Time! Today is the last day of Gallery 1988's Crazy 4 Cult show in LA so if you're in and around HOLLYWEIRD (thats what I call it) then make sure you get down there and check out all the amazing artwork. With this year's show taking place at Christmas I thought I would pay tribute to my favourite seasonal movie about love, family and things getting smashed, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I've recreated four scenes from the movie which are being sold as a pack of four greetings cards. After the show ends the cards will still be available on the website, ready for 2015's traditional card giving fun!

Very, very, VERY excited to announce that I'm part of this year's Crazy 4 Cult show at Gallery1988 in LA! The show celebrates cult movies and is always packed with incredible art. It's been my dream for years to be involved with G1988 and thanks to artist Ian Glaubinger and Kate & Jensen at the gallery I finally get to live that dream!

Storm Force Winter Issue.
I've been working on Storm Force, the RNLI magazine for children, for five years and the new issue is my favourite issue I've ever done. I got the chance to work on some awesome stuff like a Where's Wally style spread, loads of Christmas related things and some pictures of ducks! Next issue is a 30th anniversary issue and it looks like its going to be ever better!

Ghostbusters 2015?
With the news that Paul Feig is possibly in line to direct the new Ghostbusters movie I thought I would finally draw my Ghostbusters dream team.
Luckily they’re all actors that would fit into a Feig-style movie; Adam Scott, Brie Larson, Rashida Jones and Rainn Wilson.

Lannisters Always Pay Their Debts.
A Lannister family portrait to accompany my Stark portrait from last year. This print sold really well at MCM London Comic Con this weekend, though a lot of people who bought it had to voice their dislike of Joffrey to me. Which I did not understand because Joffrey is awesome.

MCM LONDON COMIC CON THIS WEEKEND!!
It's MCM London Comic Con time once again, everything is taking place this weekend at the Excel Centre in London's Docklands and once again I'll be there, riding a mighty table into battle with my co-adventuring comic-drawer-dude Mark Pearce (the Kick-buttock creator of Ronin Dogs). We'll be at table CF9 in the Comic Village where I'll be selling issues 1 & 2 of my comic Big Jimmy, loads of movie & TV related art prints and for the first time, sets of Marvel Phase 2 art cards (coloured by the Avenging John-Paul Bove). I'll also be doing commissions and selling some awesome original art too. You might say that I'm some kind of walking human shop! (it would be weird but you'd be welcome to say it) So come on over!
While you're in the Comic Village, make sure you check out some other amazing artists, including Marissa & Deakin Brook, situated right next to us at table CF10, Jess Bradley-Bove (table CB13), John-Paul Bove (CB14), Rob Cureton (CE5), Nikki Stuart, Louise Ho & Will Kirkby (CC8/CC9), Lewis Terry (CK7), Jon Lock (CK9) and Nich Angell (CK10). Only after you've visited all these people, do I give you permission to have a sit down.
Also The Fonz is going to be there.
Phase Two!
This weekend at MCM London Comic Con, I'll have these new postcard sized Phase 2 prints. I'll be selling them in complete packs of 10 or as separate prints. They were coloured by John-Paul Bove (IDW's Transformers ReGeneration One) with all of the mighty colouring prowess he is known globally for!
More details about MCM in the post above!

Bristol Comic Expo & MCM Comic Con!
May means it's comic con season for James! I'll be sharing a table with the Mighty Mark Pearce (Ronin Dogs) at Bristol Comic Expo on the 10th & 11th of May, then we'll be at MCM London Comic Con on the 23rd to the 25th. I'll be bringing two brand new prints with me; The Lannister family tree, which matches my Stark family picture from last year, and a Sherlock print for all you Cumberlords and Freemaniacs out there. I'll have loads more artwork, including some original sketches on my table too.
I've also got issue 1 and 2 of my comic, Big Jimmy, about an Intergalactic fight-rumble and the little Martian twerp that gets caught in the middle of it, as well as "Now We Are Running", a comic about sharks, toilets, triplets and other craziness.
So please come along and say hello, or any other formal greeting you like, IT'S TOTALLY UP TO YOU!!
